H.E. Mene Urges Private Sector and Financial Institutions to Drive Africa’s Integration Now.

H.E Mene affirmed that the best opportunity that our continent ever had to accelerate trade and investment is #NOW. He remarked that in the face of unprecedented disruption in supply chains, the dis-integration of the multilateral trading systems, the Continent has a unique opportunity to build its domestic market.

He urged the private sector to play a critical in this endeavour of Africa’s integration, as they are the primary pillar of implementation of regional and continental integration. As a Call to Action, H.E. called for financial institutions to work towards lowering access to finance for SMEs as an asset class.
