On Sunday, May 11, 2025, the American Chamber of Commerce Ghana, led by AmCham Treasurer Mr. Bethel Yeboah, Acting Executive Secretary Jane Okyere-Aduachie, and a member delegation, joined the U.S.-Africa Business Center delegation, which was headed by President Kendra Gaither and Vice President Dr. Guevera Yao. This collaboration included seven West African AmChams: the American Chamber of Commerce in Côte d’Ivoire, the American Business Council Nigeria, the American Chamber of Commerce in Senegal, AMCHAM-MALI, the American Chamber of Commerce in Angola – AmCham – Angola, and the American Chamber of Commerce in Cameroon (AmCham).

The event took place at the U.S. Ambassador’s Residence in Abidjan.
Hosted by Ambassador Jessica Davis Bâ, the Welcome Reception brought together an exceptional community of leaders shaping the next chapter of U.S.–West Africa economic relations. From meaningful dialogue to lasting connections, the evening set a powerful tone for the Summit’s next three days of panels, bilateral meetings, and forward-looking collaboration.
